2024 Downtown Summit: Evolve Downtown

Wisconsin Downtown Action Council (WDAC) invites all those interested in the success of Wisconsin’s downtowns to attend the 2024 Downtown Summit Evolve Downtown on May 20th and 21st in Wausau’s beautiful River District. The Summit will begin on Monday with registration at 10:30 a.m. at the River City Church, 613 N. 5th Street, Wausau. After several presentations, lunch, and tours, the evening reception will be hosted at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum, 700 N 12th St, Wausau. ! Read more here.

50th Annual Children’s Festival
This event brings community members together to embrace everything kids! We will have arts and crafts, bouncy houses, fire trucks, therapy dogs, magic shows, live music, face painting, petting zoo, and performances by local kids groups. This year’s theme is “Splish Splash its and Underwater Bash”. Bring cash for food trucks. This is a free event hosted by the Marathon Park, Recreation, and Forestry Department.
