Barbaro

Barbaro’s musical vision explores their collective life experiences through intricate instrumentation, creatively bending traditional music into a style that is all their own. The Minneapolis-Winona based rising stars have created their eclectic sound through original songwriting craft, with inspiration derived from bluegrass, jazz, and chamber music. Hmong-Themed Art Workshop

Monday, January 16, 2023 – 5pm to 7 pm

We are in the engage phase, the first phase, of creating the Rise Up Central Wisconsin’s first and only Hmong-themed mural. We will be hosting workshops from November through January. Each workshop will have its theme and project appropriate for a range of ages. Through these workshops, we want to hear and know what you’d like to see on the mural so it reflects your Hmong identity! Click here for details.

Join Wausau Events for a weekend filled with winter activities for the entire family! ​The weekend kicks off on Friday with Winter Brew Fest, a 21 and over event at the Jefferson Street Inn Banquet Center featuring various beers from around our local area, appetizers, and live music! Saturday, bring the entire family downtown for our annual Winter Fest! A day of free activities including: art projects, ice sculptures, sled dog demonstrations, cookies, ice skating, and more!
