Craft Supply Swap

Sat Oct 14 2023 at 10:00 am to 12:00 pm – Do you have too many craft supplies? Are you drowning in yarn and material? Looking to try out a new craft, but don’t want to invest in something you might not like? We have answers for all those questions: our October craft swap in Wausau! Everyone is invited to “shop” on Saturday – no donation required! You can pick up new (to you) craft materials and we’ll also take any new or gently used items that day as well. Visit here for more information.

144-mile, 85-mile, and 50-mile gravel bike races through Central Wisconsin mixing in rolling gravel roads, ATV trails, beautiful parks, forests with fall foliage, ginseng fields, and farmlands. Blossom of Lights


Sun, Oct 8, 1 – 5 PM

This immersive experience for all ages will delight with a botanical-inspired sea of special visual effects. Stroll through the myriad of dramatic, artistic lights and light sculptures gracing the various spaces around 10 acres of the Gardens. Blossom of Lights 2023 will use timed tickets! Choose your day and time to experience the show! You will purchase your ticket for a specific 15-minute block, and you should plan to arrive during that time block. Forward Beverage Co.

Forward Beverage is a non-alcoholic lounge, so none of the cocktails they serve contain alcohol. Paul Yanzer gave up drinking alcohol a number of years ago, and when he and as wife Amy go out goes out to eat, for instance, it pretty much means he’s going to be drinking water. Paul has his beverages down to a science, literally. Paul is a chemist and a physicist. He managed research and development at Octopi Brewing in Waunakee. Through that company, he worked with a number of brands and helped them develop their flavor. Forward Beverage Co. is located at 303 N. Third Street. Their hours are 11 am-6 pm Tues.-Sat.
