48th Annual Children’s Festival
SATURDAY, MARCH 26, 2022 AT 10 AM – 3 PM
Come on out for a day of kid-friendly fun, with more than 20 booths of fun-filled activities for kids of all ages. The theme for this year’s free event is “I want to be a Dinosaur, ” and is hosted by the Marathon Park, Recreation, and Forestry Department. Just bring the kids and be ready to have fun. The Carole King Musical tells the Tony and Grammy Award-winning story of King’s remarkable rise to stardom, from being part of a hit songwriting team with her husband Gerry Goffin, to her relationship with fellow writers and best friends Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann, to becoming one of the most successful solo acts in popular music history.
