Forward Beverage
Forward Beverage is a non-alcoholic lounge, so none of the cocktails they serve contain alcohol. Paul Yanzer gave up drinking alcohol a number of years ago, and when he and as wife Amy go out goes out to eat, for instance, it pretty much means he’s going to be drinking water. Paul has his beverages down to a science, literally. Paul is a chemist and a physicist. He managed research and development at Octopi Brewing in Waunakee. Through that company, he worked with a number of brands and helped them develop their flavor. Forward Beverage Co. is located at 303 N. Third Street. Their hours are 11 am-6 pm Tues.-Sat. Find them on Facebook under Forward Beverage Co. Click here for more info, or call 715-841-0051.

Rally for Restaurants
Your favorite restaurants have always been there for you. Now we need to be there for them. The restaurant community across the nation and here in Wausau has been rocked by a dramatic decline in sales as a result of COVID-19. That’s putting hard-working owners and staff at risk.
Please contribute what you can by ordering takeout, delivery and buying gift cards from your favorite Wausau restaurants so they can count on that income to keep things running.
Rally for Restaurants is a national, grassroots initiative to give restaurants a fighting chance amidst the COVID-19 health crisis. Click here for more info.

Hundreds of Wausau area bar, restaurant and other small business employees have recently lost their jobs, are furloughed or are working reduced hours. Now there’s a movement to help those struggling due to the COVID-19 lock-down – it’s called Wausau Virtual Tip Jar. It allows friends, neighbors and customers to support Wausau area service workers with a tip to their Venmo or PayPal accounts. Even if it’s just a dollar or two every bit helps.
If you have friends, family or employees in the service industry who have been financially impacted by the Coronavirus lock-down, please encourage them to visit Wausau Virtual Tip Jar and sign up — https://bit.ly/WausauTips.
Service workers enter their name, business establishment and a web link (not an email address) for their Venmo or PayPal account so people can send them a virtual tip. Here in Wausau, we care for one another and do what we can to help. Wausau Virtual Tip Jar is just one of the many small ways we can make a difference, help our neighbors in need and give them hope that together, we’ll get through this.
