Movies in the Park Summer Series @400 Series

This summer we are excited to expand our annual movie in the park night to an entire series thanks to our Title Sponsor – Love You, Kid!. On select Thursdays, we will be hosting a movie at the 400 Block free of charge. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, treats and enjoy a night of family entertainment in the beautiful setting of downtown Wausau. Enjoy the variety of food selections offered at our two food courts, and then sit back and enjoy musical entertainment at our stages provided by local favorites and nationally known performers. Families will enjoy entertainment geared for our younger patrons at the Family Stage and a variety of hands-on art activities in the Family Art area. Adults can try their hands at art too, with our Still Young @ Art classes in the CVA classroom. Join Wausau Events for the 31st year of Concerts on the Square! Each Wednesday, over 2,500 people gather to listen to live music, eat and drink with family/friends and enjoy the Wisconsin summer nights! This 12-week series offers a variety of music and each night is free of charge! Carry-ins are allowed with food trucks available onsite! Lego Block Party Wausau

August 21, 2024 3pm-5pm

Get creative with LEGO® and other blocks at the library!

We will have plenty of LEGO® bricks, Duplo, books, and other building materials, and patrons are welcome to stop by any time during these bi-monthly sessions! What worlds can you create with some simple blocks?
