Christmas for Kids at the Conservatory

Sunday, December 11th, 2022 12:30-4pm

Christmas for Kids at the Conservatory presented by the Wausau Conservatory of Music will take place at the Wausau Conservatory of Music (WCM) on Sunday, December 11 from 12:30 pm to 4:00pm. This family-friendly event is free for adults and $5 per child (13 and under). Children and parents will be treated to a variety of entertainment, games, holiday music, and of course, pictures with Santa. Visit the website for more information.

Wausau Community Theatre’s holiday tradition is back for its 15th season. It is the classic tale of hard-hearted Ebenezer Scrooge who is visited by the ghost of his late partner, Jacob Marley and the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future. Holidays at the Houses: Collections and Their Stories

 

December 10th, 2022

Please join us for our annual celebration of holiday traditions as the Marathon County Historical Society presents “Holidays at the Houses” on Saturday, December 10th from 10:30 am-4:30 pm.
The Woodson History Center and Yawkey House Museum will be decorated for the holidays, and visitors will experience the season with live entertainment, children’s activities, model railroad open house, refreshments and the popular annual Sweet Landmarks Gingerbread Contest. Groups performing include the CenterStage Show Choir, Wausau High Schools combined orchestra, Wausau Conservatory of Music string duet, local dance and theater groups among others! The Friends of Wausau Historic Landmarks is in search of gingerbread architects for their annual Sweet Landmarks of Wausau Gingerbread Contest to be held Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the Woodson History Center. The contest is held each year in conjunction with Marathon County Historical Society’s Holidays at the Houses event! Click here for more info.

​Youth Holiday Workshop for Ages 6-12 — Center for the Visual Arts


  

A magical afternoon of ART and holiday fun that will feature individual projects in a multitude of mediums. Students will create holiday gifts while learning new techniques and exploring the potential of different materials while enjoying a festive holiday themed environment. All supplies are included.
