The Ugly Mug – Coffee with An Attitude
Downtown Wausau has a new coffee shop that aspires to be a gathering place and social hub for the community. The Ugly Mug, previously known as The Paisley Mug, has gone through an extensive renovation with a new décor and a menu that focuses on coffees, other beverages and bakery options. The new owners, Tyler Vogt and his sister Shannon Kozlowski, say they also plan to offer kombucha on tap, smoothies made from fresh ingredients, house-made bread, stuffed donuts and gluten-free offerings. The Ugly Mug will also offer patrons the opportunity to bring their own mug and be part of its “mug club.” “We want it to be a social hub,” Vogt said. “There’s a lot going on in this little space.” Read More…
