Hundreds of Wausau area bar, restaurant and other small business employees have recently lost their jobs, are furloughed or are working reduced hours. Now there’s a movement to help those struggling due to the COVID-19 lock-down – it’s called Wausau Virtual Tip Jar. It allows friends, neighbors and customers to support Wausau area service workers with a tip to their Venmo or PayPal accounts. Even if it’s just a dollar or two every bit helps.
